Electrical control cabinets, communication enclosures and terminal boxes house a large number of precision electronic components that are highly sensitive to temperature and humidity fluctuations. Day-night temperature differences and humid conditions easily lead to condensation inside cabinets, which may cause metal corrosion, insulation damage and short-circuit faults. At low temperatures, electronic components suffer degraded performance. Hidden risks such as blocked airflow and local overheating can directly result in equipment shutdown and substantial production losses. To stabilize the cabinet environment and avoid such hazards, a reliable cabinet heater is an essential part of electrical supporting solutions.
Linkwell LK141 series PTC heaters adopt mature PTC ceramic heating technology. With self-limiting temperature features and convenient DIN rail mounting, they deliver stable heating for condensation prevention and freeze protection, making them an ideal choice for cabinet environmental control.
The core component is the PTC positive temperature coefficient ceramic heating element. When electric current passes through the PTC ceramic element, electric energy is converted into heat energy. Its biggest advantage over traditional resistance wire heaters is the self-regulating property: as the temperature rises, the resistance of the PTC material increases automatically to reduce power output; when temperature drops, resistance decreases and power rises accordingly. This self-limiting mechanism effectively prevents overheating and dry burning, cutting down safety risks while saving energy. Heat spreads inside the cabinet via natural convection. Installed at the bottom of the cabinet, the heater warms the surrounding air, which rises and circulates evenly to eliminate cold spots, raise the cabinet temperature above dew point and stop condensation. It can be used together with thermostats or hygrostat controllers for precise temperature and humidity control, suitable for demanding outdoor and humid working conditions.
✅ Safe & Flame-retardant Self-limiting Heating Equipped with PA66 nylon housing rated UL94 V-0, paired with PTC ceramic heating cores. The heater will not overheat even in abnormal conditions, complying with RoHS standards for safe operation.
✅ Natural Convection with Chimney Effect, Uniform Heat Distribution Aluminum extruded heat sink structure forms a chimney effect to boost natural air circulation. Fanless design, zero noise and maintenance-free.
✅ Easy DIN Rail Mounting & Quick Wiring Direct snap-on installation on standard 35mm DIN rails, with push-in terminal connections for fast wiring. Compact structure and long service life.
✅ Multiple Power Options for Various Cabinets Available in 30W / 50W / 75W / 100W / 150W. Rated voltage: 100–250V AC. IP20 protection, designed for interior cabinet installation.

① Calculate the total volume of the electrical cabinet
② Confirm the required temperature rise (temperature difference between inside and outside)
③ Take into account ambient humidity and outdoor exposure to confirm the required heating power If you are unsure about power selection, contact our technical team for custom recommendations.
Install the heater at the lower section of the cabinet. Hot air rises naturally to form full internal circulation. Reserve sufficient space for air flow to avoid dead zones that cause condensation. For larger cabinets, fast temperature rise or high IP rating requirements, we also offer fan-assisted cabinet heaters (such as LK145 series) as an alternative solution.
Outdoor control cabinets, wind power & energy storage cabinets, traffic control boxes, terminal junction boxes, communication enclosures and factory automation cabinets. It works reliably whether in foggy humid southern regions or cold northern outdoor environments.
✅ Prevent condensation and short-circuit risks
✅ Reduce metal corrosion and extend component service life
✅ Ensure stable operation of electronics under low temperature
✅ Improve overall reliability of the control system
Most electrical equipment failures originate from unstable temperature and humidity inside cabinets. A high-quality PTC cabinet heater is not merely a heating component, but a guardian of the whole control system. The new Linkwell LK141 fanless PTC ceramic heater integrates self-limiting PTC heating core, aluminum heat dissipation and simple DIN rail installation. It balances safety, energy saving and easy installation, protecting your electrical cabinets against condensation and freezing and minimizing unexpected downtime.
If you are facing condensation or low-temperature startup issues for electrical cabinets, feel free to contact Linkwell for complete temperature and humidity control solutions.
